Heirlooms

Throughout the past few years and over 60 weddings that I have photographed one thing always seems to stand out. Not only am I a photographer but a dress fluffer, boutonnière pinner, button sewer, bouquet holder, timeline keeper, and hair fixer. I make it my responsibility to go beyond the traditional duty of photographing your big day by assisting with timeline prep, recommending vendors, and making sure your day is flawless! Here’s a little peak into what you can expect:

Such Sweet Words

 - Samantha Elmaghraby

We couldn't be happier with our amazing engagement and wedding pictures! Nicole was more than a pleasure to work with. It's because of her uncanny talent of capturing simple beauty and raw/genuine emotion that we'll be able to live those special moments over and over again each time we look at her work. We get to have the most amazing-once in a lifetime- photo album of the day we said 'I do!'... An album that truly exceeded my best expectations and then some! On top of the fabulous work, she was so relaxed, so much fun, and went the extra mile to see our wedding exactly how we needed her to! With all the chaos that is 'wedding', she didn't miss a single shot, which is beyond impressive. Thank you Nicole! You should be so proud of how talented you are!

Nicole Weeks is the most amazing photographer a couple could ask for. She genuinely seemed like she cared about getting you a quality product and the photographs of your dreams. We started with an engagement session at least 10 months prior to the wedding day. As she suggested, this helps us get warmed up to her and her style, and she had the opportunity to learn us as a couple so she could properly photograph the most important day of our lives. At 6 months and 3 months prior to the date, on the dot, Nicole messaged me, stating she was so excited that our wedding was getting closer and to let her know if she could do anything to help. I asked her opinion on grooms-wear - color wise with the bridesmaids dresses and she made an expert recommendation that fit so perfectly. We received our photos less than 4 weeks after the wedding. Beautiful shots - she captured the day perfectly.

I am so amazed with Nicole Weeks and her photography business: Nicole Weeks Photography. My family & I had the pleasure of having Nicole work with us for a family photography session. Nicole was not on time for our session, but actually early and already set up before we arrived. Nicole was very patient with us; it was me and my 6 years old twins- so right there you can imagine how interesting this shoot was! Nicole’s wonderful, kind and energetic personality was a huge asset to making this photo-shoot a success. Nicole took the time to make sure we all felt comfortable, she was very creative with all of our poses and made it so much fun. Nicole was very quick in getting these pictures ready for my review, so that I would be able to order the pictures right away. Photography is not just a job for Nicole, it is definitely her passion. I highly recommend Nicole to anyone who is looking for photography services.

I believe in heirlooms

Imagine 50 years from now sitting around the table with your grandchild on your lap showing them your wedding album. The aroma of freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies fills the room. You’re holding a linen-covered book of memories, watching their tiny fingers flip through the thick pages. The sound of their innocent laughter surrounds you while they find joy in the moments you said I do to your best friend.

As a little girl, I will never forget when my grandmothers would bring out their boxes of old photographs. I remember sitting right next to grandma at her wooden dining room table as she told a story about each black and white photograph she handed to me. I chuckled at the images of my father and his sisters and the interesting haircuts they thought were so fashionable. She pointed to pictures and spoke about my grandfather, whom I hadn’t had the chance to meet before he passed. We sat for the longest time reminiscing (with the occasional break to check if there were any cookies left in her plump, white, doll-figured cookie jar that always remained on her counter.) The feeling of the thick photo paper and the faded edges of the aged prints will forever stick in my mind.

He was a tinkerer, a carver, an experimenter with wood. Excitement filled his eyes as he revealed his latest project to his wife. It is filled with tangible memories of my parents on their wedding day and of my siblings and I when we were little. I catch myself standing in front of these photographs reminiscing about the special moments that we have lived through and the life that my parents have provided for us. It’s a reminder that life is meant to be celebrated and these moments captured in print so they are never forgotten on a phone or lost on a computer. With prints, we can share our stories, memories and experiences with the ones we love most.
